Doing up a 202, whats a good auto tranny for it?

G'day.

I'm gonna be sticking a blue 202 into an old 4x4 land rover.

Whats a good box that will bolt upto the 202? T400 or something decent? I might spend on a rebuild or strenthen..

Any ideas? prefer 4 speed and has to be an auto for personal preference..

I think that a TH400, H350 or any 4 speed auto will consume too much power from the 202, I have read somewhere that the humble trimatic can be built pretty tough these days and they don't use anywhere near the power either. if it is only a mild 202 then a trimatic will be fine
