Hi peoples,
Im doing a minor rebuild on a VK EFI Black 202, i dont have a book on this particular model so could i please trouble you for some specs?
Need to know the std size ring lands in the piston, the engine has 30'' over pistons so i need to know if just some 30'' ACL rings will fit or if ill have to work out what brand the pistons are and buy some of their rings. Any suggestions?
Its got a Cam, unknown specs but was a little lumpy on idle thinking its a S2.
So basically all the engine is getting is:
New rings
New big ends
Its got yella terra roller rockers, and straight cut gears ect all the usual mods for a mild 202.
Its getting fitted to an FE Holden running a Delco setup instead of the original Bosch system.
Also, are the tensions the same as a RED 202? i have a book on the early girls.
Mainly just need the Big Ends and Head bolts, the rest should be right.
Cheers Ben
i would rather run carby if i was u man
and id follow this How To Build A High-Performance Holden Six
Its not for my car Jonno, its not going to run the same injection setup as a std VK, the Bosch system is being turfed in favour of a Delco 808 ecm like VN/VP style operating system so it should be better if it gets tuned right.
See how she goes in the long run.
