How can i modify my vs to make it perform better but without making it illegal for a P plater to drive?? I want to make it go faster but there is a limit to what i can do at the moment.
Has any1 got suggestions on what i can do to make it perform better??

Whereabouts are you located? Different states have different laws regarding P platers

I'm in NSW not sure what the regulations are just no turbo, v8 blah blah all the fun stuff we cant have

You can't move it, a mod might do it for you soon though.
I am in Vic, so I can't be much help with what you can or can't do.
I would be starting with a CAI, 2.5in catback exhaust and extractors. After that look into high ratio roller rockers.

Some diff gears would help as well, if you don't do a lot of highway driving. But I can't vouch for that myself

Firstly you dont need a v8 or a turbo to have fun.

Im on my P's in victoria, i have done a few mods (look at my signature for my mods) but i think that the best one i have done is the Stage 2 shift kit. It makes the whole car feel much more fun. It creates no power but uses what the engine already has by holding the gears longer and making sharper shifts. I love it.

If you cannot have mods as a P plater then i dont recommend doing them, because sooner or later you will get busted. But if your going to do them any ways you might as well get bang for buck. Internal mods are harder to trace. Things like ported, shaved heads are near impossible to detect, high ratio rockers, larger valves and a good tune will make the car perform great.

just turbo it, and if the cop asks 'whats that pipe for'
u jsut turn and say to them 'its for my air con'
problem solved.

OR save your cash, and when off ur P's.. go nuts. but do it safely.
