Cant be a V8, but will consider sleeper turbo'd/supercharged car's. I'm a mechanic and would like it to have no major problems because i've got enough to work on at the moment but will consider cars needing work just don't try hiding anything.

You want a p plate legal car, but you also want a turbo or supercharged car?
What?
lol, read a bit slower there fella's
if it looks or sounds distinctively like a turbo or supercharger the boys will know so none of those.
this is the biggest downgrade i've had to do for over 4 years so very hesitant to go back to any type of stocker.
and once more for the illiterate- i'm buying it, and if a turbo/charged car appeals to me more than that's what i'm buying/driving...
Might be tough finding a manual stato for that coin. If someones gone to the trouble of converting one they probably wont part with it on the cheap. I was looking at manual 2nd gen's on car sales yesterday and they're ridiculously overpriced so I think a statesman would be even more so
6cyl auto UC torana $2200.
thanks for all the replies but not what i'm after. i agree 'monkeys' a manual stato is pushing it but i figured i gotta be in it to win it so hopefully something's out there.
i seen a manual vs 5 spd with a turbo go for $2000 people and i could have bought it just it had a decent sized front mount and the boys wouldn't like that at all.
going to look at a gemini on 20's for $5000 tomorrow. not too keen with summer coming up though.
well so far it looks like i've found one. it's being brought up from melbourne this week so just gotta see if it works out now.
