WTB: Used Car - $1000 or less

Just putting the feelers out as I'm running out of ads.

I've just kicked my older car out as it was time and I couldn't be bothered spending time/money of figuring out the oil leaks etc. It's gone to a good home. It was my go to and from work car so I need a replacement. In the meantime I'm left with just the Commodore.

I'm looking for a cheap little run around car. I would prefer:

- At least 1990 model
- Registered and RWC (if not reg then at least RWC or able to pass one)
- Something with A/C and working
- Something ready to drive straight away without having to fiddle with parts
- Not some hoon car that thinks the thing is like a house and has just spent $500 on it and wants to make $5000 back on it

Put up a reply or PM me if you have anything I might be interested in. I'm still going through car sales sites and resorting to E-Bay daily. The results I keep coming up with tell me I'm looking at an early 90s model Ford Falcon.

Prefs have changed slightly in that either currently reg. without RWC (able to pass) or can be expired (less than three months though) and RWC.

Anything similar to that, or any ideas let me know.

And of course, I'm located in Victoria, Melbourne Metro

ive got a vn sedan that u can have for $1600

on gas but needs gauge and switch wired in and needs a windscreen. reg expired but can be paid up, no rwc but close id say..
