ITEM: Complete VK Disc Brake Diff BW 78 3.23 ratio to suit VK 6 cyl + hand brake cable, calipers and tailshaft to suit trimatic.

We got one with drums......but I don't think it's for sale coz my bro will prolly need to keep it as a backup. Which one's had disc's? I know a mate's VK Calais has disc's, but that has a Salisbury 8 bolt under it. I've got a VK BW for my wagon, but that isn't disc's either....u sure any of the VK BW 78's had disc brakes on them?

Yeah I think Danny is right, i dont remember seeing any BW 6cyl Discs brakes, pretty sure they came out on V8s correct? If so you would be able to rip all the disc brake crap off and bolt onto your diff, or get a custom tailshaft to match the V8 diff, i have seen one on ebay go for $1, i was nearly gonna buy it but it was in melbourne.

A local diff dude told me that they were available on the '85 VK 6cyl EFI calais. I also have seen a shagged one at the wreckers.

The V8 diffs would have been a 10 bolt....not sure if you'd be able to transfer the brakes over between the two.

As the drum diffs are easier to find, have u thought about getting one and converting it to discs? Use the discs off a VN diff maybe. I asked about it on here a while ago coz that's wat I wanna do to mine, apparently ya just need a special seal or sumfin, can't actually remember lol.
