u sure sean? i got my 3.89 out of an auto R31, and my 3.45 out of a VL and i saw 3.7's behind a manual R31 wagon

Wrong mate.

HEAPS of ppl i spoke to always told me, manual R31 skylines had the 3.73's and autos had 3.9's.
And the R31 pintara autos had 3.9s and manuals had 4.11's.

I went to the wreckers a few weeks back, out of about 16-17 R31 pintaras/skylines, majority of them were 3.9s.
I think 2 pintaras had 4.11s, but all the rest had the 3.9s

I went straight to the manual skylines as i was chasing 3.7s but they all had 3.9s so im not too sure.

But thats the cheapest way to pull them from the wreckers

Those gears will fit any diff (IRS or live axle) from VL - VTs1.
I also have a set of 4.11's for sale if anyones interested PM me
