Default wanted to buy-vs hsv-prefer senator

throwing this in both the pub and wanted to buy section as i figure not many people check the wanted to buy section

i used to own a mint 185i auto vs senator, i've since sold it and each morning i kick myself on how much i miss it. early this year i had a wholesaler ring my father at work with a vs senator 215i, it had 42,000km in cherry black, with sunroof and leather, full hsv dealer service history and was a manual to boot. the asking price for this car was 18900, i wanted to see the car before buying it, after travelling 3 hours to view it the very next morning, i had missed out by 15 minutes (another worker there didn't know i had hold on it, and sold it).

everyday i contemplate what it would have been like to own this car, hence i'm now chasing preferably a vs, but will also look at a vr senator or gts. (must be 215i)i'm not in any way interested in a clubsport. leather is not a requirement, but preffered same story with a sunroof. manual or auto not swayed either way. any colours really. km's don't fuss me, however this will affect price.

so basically a vr/vs senator/gts 215i manual/auto is what i'm after. i have cash sitting, waiting for the right car.

i will not require a rwc, i will supply the car with a good home as i have done all the rest of my cars. i will not muck anyone about, if i'm interested and its around the right money i will buy on the day. (if your thinking of letting me know, but not sure please do.) i don't mind if someone has one to sell with a noisy diff/gearbox/engine, or simular other faults as i'm a mechanic and will fix it myself, however this would need to reflect in the price.

the only thing that will deter me from buying, is previous crash damage. anything else won't worry me i.e high km's, worn seats, noisy diff, etc etc. i will buy in almost any condition, other than cars that have been previously in quite large collisions.

anyway, if in doubt of something that will suit me, please ask as it doesn't cost anything to ask the question.

    cheers, Matt (0404 304 838)
