i have a vk thats got rego but not running
thats the best i can do

what needs doing on it? and how much? if ur in bunbury its a tad hard to get it here if its not running

it needs a motor and gearbox.
it has a 253 sitting in it atm but needs a carby and tailshaft.
not much help i know but it has got rego till next month
for 950 ill tow it to perth for you

i still have it, it just leaks water from the back of the motor between the head and block.
if you dont want the 253 ill put the black six back in it and you can have it for 750 delivered.

should only need a rebuild to get it going maybe a skim on the head
a grand at the most to get it running again.

yeah it is roadworthy i drove it around for over a year without a problem. had the cops pull me over a few times and couldnt pick anything wrong with it.
yo shouldnt have ant probs with it once the motor is rebuilt

yeah it runs with the black motor in it. the tailshaft i was looking for was so i could put the 253 in it.
the car was running and driving until i pulled the motor out. everything i was looking for was to put the 253 in, but i gave that idea away cause i needed a car so i bought myself a HX ute

as far as i know the red and black gearboxes are interchangable
this one is a 3 speed auto

mate ur making me think happy thoughts im a couple of weeks of the license and the money so itll give me time to think and save and think and think and then dream then look at the pictures repeatedly but it sounds pretty good atm
might even drive down sometime to have a look if i can get time of work of course stupid 7 day weeks
