Same as the solid, You can get them from any VL down at the wrecking yard. Mine are from a VL in a IRS VP

Power won't change 1 iota. You may get a slightly better launch.

3.45s were worth about .05 of a second over the 1/8th mile on my car. They may be worth more on a less grunty or heavier car. They will definatly help alot of you have a cam. On the stock cam and a tune the 304 has enough low end grunt to pull the 3.08s anyway

3.9s will give more launch than 3.45s but will top out sooner and higher revs at crusing speed... 3.45 are a good ratio i think more launch but without sacrificing cruising speed and fuel economy.

Go 3.45s as foam said every VL auto at the wreckers has them, then go to jaycar and get a speedo corrector kit to correct the speedo and you're laughing.

I'm getting a LSD center and 3.45 gears tomorrow, then will have to strip the backend I've got to get sandblasted and painted....then I'll have the fun of fitting these.
