auto box for VP series 1

i have a vp1 engine in my hilux and the box in on its last legs
has anyone got a car they are wrecking in sydney and the box is still good
i'll probably just get one from a wrecker as i need it pretty soon

what autos interchange with other autos?
is vn1-vn2-vp1-vp1 the same
vr are not compatible are they?
and i heard vn1 had different bolt patterns but not sure if it was just the 5sp that was diffenrent? all should be turbo (th700) pattern shouldn't they?

the hilux is just sitting on my lawn now can't even tow the boat with it now

the hilux was factory auto so its easy just to keep it an auto. its not a performance car but it does do good skids. it weights 1250kg with the 3.8 in it so when it was working good it was very quick. even now it keeps up with my au2 xr6 5sp.
and i'm in the sutherland shire but i work on the north shore and can pick up the box from basically anywhere in syd.
