Default Wtb - vx or vy exec v8 (prefer manual)

    hey guys,

looking for a vx or vy, must be an executive, and must be a v8. nothing else. prefer manual, but will consider auto. not interested in ex police cars, at all.

will pay good money, and i'm prepared to travel to get one. don't require rwc, or rego, and will buy in any condition

    cheers guys,

    Matt - 0404 304 838 or (03) 55 676 202

I've got one, bought it about 3-4 months ago for my wife, but she now wants another patrol, It's ls1, auto, otrcai, maffless tune, exhaust, supposed to have 240rwkw(havent got dyno figures), 20" rims with good tyres, few little things need doing, reg is due next week, has window tint, sunroof, power windows and HBD body kit. Is a HBD vehicle. I want $14000 or $13500 no reg. Can email pics.

    hey mate,

    what model? vx or vy?

really prefer a 100% stock manual. will consider an auto, but i just don't know.

throw me a email with a few pics at v8_symphony@hotmail.com and we'll go from there

Mate, ive got a white wh 2002 ls1 caprice that you can have for $12500. Much better value than an 01 exec with heaps more options. It's al standard except for pacemaker 1 5/8 extractors and knocked out vy cats. Has also had a maff tune. Has resonable power with exceptional economy.

i know what your saying mate, but i don't want any luxo barges. too much weight, and not enough go. i hate long wheelbase, longer to park, slower, heavier, thirstier, and i just like things simple.

i'm really after a basic vx or vy, wind up windows etc etc. i like simple, less to go wrong. and i hate climate, easier to turn a knob then press a button 18 times to increase heat.

thanks for the offer, but a definate no for me.

18 times to increase heat? that's not the way it works. if you want it to be 22deg, you up the temp to 22. the car won't heat up any quicker if you put it any higher than 22. you don't need to set it to 32deg just to get a bit of warmth in the car.

if i was you, i'd find a VX SS. cheapest good LS1 you will get. close enough to no features, just like you want. exec will cost you more, because they are rarer. guarantee it.

cheers for your help guys, as for the climate issue again, i just like things simple. easier to turn the know than worry about all this auto shit, and all the drama's that come with it. had climate several times before, and would prefer to stay away from it.

the one on ebay was advertised on calaisturbo.com.au, except the guy wasn't interested in cash at all, said he was only after swaps for something so he didn't have to find something else to buy. had no luck with him trying to buy it, and a few days later its on ebay for sale, lol. head**** thanks anyway X R8D

but yeah, that vx ss is hell cheap, and looks in good order for 200,000km. i'd really prefer the sleeper look, but i think i'll have to check that car out. thanks levymetal
