do to not being able to purchase a new ve ss ute atm, as a result of few utes in stock, so dealers wanting full retail, and to order one will be end of march, and can't lock in a price because the current bonuses end at the end of febuary, and ute won't be delivered by then i have changed my mind and bought a vs ute as a project.

big list of parts needed, this is only a starting point

* 2JZ-GTE motor with front sump (or will take rear sump engine, but will need front sump and oil pick-up, and oil return lines) and getrag V160 or V161 supra 6spd manual gearbox. also need engine loom, computer, fuel pump controller, gearbox yoke to make my tailshaft for vs ute. must come with p/s pump and a/c pump etc. basically a fully running engine and box from a supra

* vs ss front bumper bar, and foglight bezal's, and foglight's and mounts

* coulsen seats or simular (only front's needed, as for a ute) will look at vs hsv seats, or anything right up to vz hsv seat's. (will be trimmed in white leather, so cloth or leather condition is not a major worry)

* vs statesman dash, climate control unit etc. full vs statesman wiring loom to run dash with. (not in a hurry for this one at all, i can come across these fairly easy and cheaply)

* vs statesman door trim's (front only)

* some kind of big brakes for a vs ute, and i mean big brakes. power figures i'm looking at aren't small, and stopping is big on my wish list.

* some kind of single turbo for a 2JZ-GTE, and manifold to suit.

* fuel system, including surge tank, big pump's, injectors for 2JZ-GTE etc etc

* tubliner for vs ute (not really needed until almost finished, so no hurry)

* intercooler which will fit in behind vs ss bar quite easily.

* air bags, or coil overs or really good suspension setup for vs ute

thats all i can think of for now. if i can't get this off the ground before the end of march i will just buy a ve ss ute (thats when i'm looking at for the next available one to be ready for pickup).
