Wtb vs ute long range tank

not even sure if they exist lol.... but if anyone knows of a long range tank for a vs ute please let me know

as far as my worksop manual tells me utes only had one size tanks and it was 60 something Lt's

VS sedan was 63lt(v6)
VS sedan with v8/ or longrage tank option 75lt

If you heard it on ebay, chances are it was bullshit.

Wagons only have 1 size tank, 68L. Might be the same for ute!

You may be able to get one custom, but it'll cost you more than the utes worth probably.

they do exist, but arent made or stocked by holden anymore, they came out in those long body VS ambulance utes, been looking for one also cos my tank is fubar....its cheaper to run a fuel cell with a accessory pump to pump the extra fuel into your fuel tank anyway.... then you get 110 litres of fuel without stopping to fill up
been considering doing that seperate tank setup for a while now

Just got off the phone to a place in Lilydale Victoria, LongRanger or something I believe they were called, they didn't actually make one for the VS utes but did for the VU onwards, BUT,....... they also said they could custom make a 110 litre tank for it, drive in drive out for around the $1200 mark.

I hadn't looked into it before but thought I had to once I saw this and having a VS ute again now myself that I refuse to put gas onto I gotta admit the standard tank just doesn't seem ample, especially on long trips.

What's everyone else's thoughts on the price and stuff.

I've got there number to if anybody is intereseted.
