WTB LSD centre (don't need gears)
i'm looking for a decent condition LSD centre to suit a BW78.
V8 preferred, unless it's a shot peened V6.
willing to pay postage, but prefer pickup.
already have 3.9's and housing to go with it, so gears not necessary.
not keen on getting one is in unknown condition or that needs a reco, guess it's a bit picky, but ideally it'd have come out of a diff that was known not to be loose.
pm to talk price.

only the axles were shotpeened, not the centres

correct. damn this whole things been a learning experience. although my main way of learning was asking a bunch of noobish questions to people who probably facepalmed
not sure on this, but if the axles go, i'll deal with it when it happens. still if vp lukes axles are holding up to his abuse i doubt a NA v6 will brake mine
crap, does this mean the 3,9's i got aren't peened. i think they're off a R31.

Shotpeened are mainly for power house's..... i see 3.9's in powerful cars and they dont break so they should be fine
Im pretty sure the 3.45's in lukes vn/foams vp, stocky's old vn arnt shotpeened so i dont think you would have a problem if they haven't broken some gears
Also, with an lsd i wouldnt worry about snapping axles, even with a spool the main thing that snaps them is constand tight turns(causing stress) and an lsd does them no problem without putting stress on the axle's, so i wouldnt worry about axles if i was you
