Bought the old girl a couple days ago. Good condition...
But I have two problems,
Got the sump plug off draining oil, but can't locate the bloody oil filter. Anyone with a VS mind telling me the location it's probably covered in **** but I can't see it anywhere.
Secondly, the remote on key won't lock/unlock the car. Took the door trim off this morning to try and work out what was going on, no luck.
I can't turn the key more then a fraction in the exterior lock barrel. And the remote doesn't unlock or lock.
But when doors are shut can lock and unlock from the jnside.
Obviously I need the bastard to lock.
Any suggestions?
Can the remote not working cause this?
I don't think it's jammed or else I wouldn't be able to lock or unlock it from the inside.
Any pointers or anyone that's had this problem before please let me know any response would be much appreciated.
