Electronic Automotive did the tuning. The flex plate bolts broke when it was on the dyno at one stage. Lucky they broke there and not on the track LOL

Hopefully this car will be hitting the rollers again within the next two months, hopefully this time with the bottom end build the way I'd like it :D

Update

This beast is in the process of getting a full engine rebuild and are now looking at chasing over 600rwkw and or a very low 9/high 8 second pass down the quarter.

Some changes to the heads, cam, crank, block and fueling have been made which we've had more input this time around.

One important piece of this puzzle to aim to achieve the new power figure, reliably, has been to develop and manufacture a custom crank girdle to suit.

Pics of this should be up within the next few days :)

Cheers,
Steve

What grade is that aluminium?
Think it'll hold up to fastener torque + vibration without losing tension?
Looks the part either way :)

Alloy

Thats not aluminium is it? Only 7075-T6 would have half a chance but even then it would still be way too weak

Freshly machined hi tensile steel surely..........no?

Mace, over to you on this one lol

I would have been happy with 300rwkw out of a V6. this guy went to town and is now the envy of every holden v6 lover. now when someone says ad 2 cylinders, we can say why would you slow it down:p.

Steve speaking of your great handy work. couldn'tnt get that plenum off to fit the inlet manifold gasket. so i took it to my mechanic and he was amazed at your work. he stood and looked at this gasket for 3 minutes very impressed.
