Hey guys having trouble getting spark with my statesman, had it running then went to start it again and no spark, have changed coil and ignition relay (I assume that’s in charge of spark) and nothing. Are there any other fuses/relays that may be blown or any wires to check as it’s a real pain in the ass to check the dissy in the statesman’s

Ignition module may have failed on you. Quite common cause when it dies

Doesn't sound like a distributor problem, they don't usually fail without giving some symptoms, although you could pull off the distributor cap and check that everything is OK with the rotor. Ignition module, as identified by member ephect, would be the next port of call and also the easiest to install. Check if you have any error codes using the process below.

Other fuses would be fuel pump fuse and injector fuse. But no spark would indicate whats already been suggested.
In an extreme case, it could be ecu.
Hall Effect Sensor would mean ripping out dizzy at which point, it would be best to replace with new dizzy.

The distributor plug is held on by a wire clip. It won't come off unless you have lost the clip, or the clip has become deformed and won't retain the plug in place.
Just putting the plug back on won't stop it coming off again unless you replace the wire clip (best method) or secure it from coming off with cable ties or something else (worst method but might work).
