98 Supercharged Calais VT Rubbing grinding sound front right wheel.

Hi, I have had my Calais for around 5 years now, and just the other day i was driving up a straight road when I heard a rubbing sound coming from the front right wheel. It sounds like something is rubbing against the tyre itself but have not noticed any actual wear on the tyre, there is no vibration in the steering nor can I feel any in the car. The sound does not stop during cornering.

Any ideas on what this could be or how to fix this would be excellent.
