This is how he explains it.

A ‘ghost cam’...which allows the four cams to do their thing without being smoothed out. It results in a lumpy idle with three settings. It can be turned off via the cruise control button.

The ghost cam on the ‘aggressive’ setting is quite cool. A pleasing ‘blat blat blat’ with lots of quiver and roll in the car. The ‘moderate’ and ‘mild’ settings are good too. The option to turn if off via the cruise control is handy if you’re not in the mood for the ghost cam..

To quote Steve from MACE,

'Just to elaborate about "Ghost cam", it's a software feature which creates the lope on idle akin to larger then factory cams. This is achieved by altering the effective lobe separation angle, which can easily be done given that they have variable cam timing. This feature can also be switched off when the cruse control is turned on.
The intensity of the lope occurring on idle can by set prior to flashing or it can be permanently disabled, depending on ones tastes...'

It's a interesting feature.
