Ok the past few mornings i've seen a few cars displaying Blue P Plates. Both times sober and awake!
My better half had told me about a month ago and i didnt believe her, thinking that i could have been the green plates faded. Its definately blue, not a faded green. Both times sober and awake!

is this another restriction? has anyone else seen them? :hmmm:

yeah just googled and all answers point to faded.
lol found this on a random forum
white p on red background = first 6 months

white p on green = next 18 months

blue p = you are colourblind, it's green

I heard that they were for P Platers who have had their cars impounded.

But, it was just gossip.

the faded ones go to blue, like a light blue i guess. they were the plates that vicroads sent out when the p1 and p2 laws came out. they went all budget and they couldn't cope with the UV rays.

There's ones in NSW fadded to blue to and you would never guess they where green. They seem mostly to be the magnetic ones.
