Young cricketer Phil Hughes was playing cricket the other day and got hit in the head with a cricket ball from a bouncer
Lost consciousness and went to hospital to have emergency surgery to relieve pressure on his brain
Never woke up

RIP Hughesy.

Terrible outcome for his family and friends especially for the poor bloke who bowled the ball.

Nobody is to blame. Just a freak accident. Worst part of the skull to take a hit. The bone there shatters and ends up like shrapnel in the brain. He was lucky to make it off the ground alive. RIP. Thoughts with him and his family and team mates.

Apparently Sean Abbot didn't leave Phil Hughes bed side , a great loss to cricket
