They are the same manifolds it's just one has a 4bbl carb style intake on it and the other a hat with 2 standard TB's on the front. I believe the manifolds themselves are a chinese copy of the Highwinder Holden intake manifold.

For a totally stock engine the original banana's manifold is ideal in many ways other than the fact it acts like an oven for intake temps. If fitting a mild cam then a manifold change would be the way to go.

depends on what you want to acheive from the engine and if you want a large hole in the bonnett to attract the boys the blue too ????

depends on what you want to acheive from the engine and if you want a large hole in the bonnett to attract the boys the blue too ????

The low rise intake with 4bll carb setup does fit under the bonnet without cutting holes.

If I'm not mistaken that is also a low rise single plane intake (very short intake runner) which won't match the stock cam which is designed to work with the extremely long runner the factory banana intake has.
