Do you drive on lots of rough roads, dirt roads with big holes?
They could have just been overtightened when fitted.

Doubt overtightened as if did that, probably shear the bolt off the subframe as is a ridiculous low torque setting, so low that its just a tighty tighty by hand setting and bracket sits on top of bush.

Like 20-22nm

The bit they gave me is dry as a bone they may have degreased it I don`t know.
It has 26 stamped on it and the site got 26MM bar.
The new ones are 26MM.
The report got road tested all ok.

Glad its sorted now though
Only thing i can think of is lack of the grease
Its pretty straight forward, take out old, clean up area, smother area of grease, grease bush also, install with the bush with gap facing forward

Tighten by hand the bolts and done.

Prick of a job though, right tools and dont even need to drop the subframe

See attachment
Red Sway bar on K-Frame, D Bush bracket holding it
Impossible for a rattle gun, can over tighten and destroy bolts but wont crush or damage bush

Not even with a can of mother, an apprentice and a hangover as simply when installed on car, no access for a rattler

good to see all fixed, the grease may be a factor, I know when I do the bush's on mine usually cant see them for the grease (overstatement) could be a dud too, that happens, now you have too find new mechanic, you probably had a good repour with the old one
