Just as a matter of general interest is it possible to dismantle a front hub assembly with ABS.
Not to remove the hub from the vehicle but to actually dismantle to hub. I don't want to repair it but would be interested to see how it's assembled.

I was told not but then nothing is impossible, rather is it worth the time/effort/cost?

I suspect you will need a press to do it. From that picture it only looks like it will be 3 or 4 parts anyway: the hub face which is just a round hunk of metal with studs, the bearing, the bearing carrier which again just looks like another hunk of metal, and the ABS sensor. There might be an ABS rotor you can remove but I suspect they just cast it into the hub face.

Thanks guys, I'll check out the wreckers and take a decent look at what makes it do what it does.
