Yeah that's all fine and dandy (yes you are correct) but the LS1 was not in the VT when the first L67 was put into a commodore. So your question is irrelevant.

Oh and if you want to harp on about it, NO A STOCK L67 WOULD NOT BEAT A STOCK LS1 - happy :)

Since you wont answer the question i'll put this here incase anybody else cant be bothered researching before they make stupid statements like you do.

VT LS1 Specs:
Maximum Power: 220kw @ 5000rpm
Maximum Torque: 446Nm @ 4400rpm

You clearly didn't read what I have already posted.

What are the weights of each car?

who cares, we're comparing power and torque figures arent we? not power to weight ratios. the l67 will obviously be lighter, due to 2 less cylinders.

feel free to look them up yourself, ive already closed the windows i had opened.

You clearly didn't read what I have already posted.

And you clearly havent done your research.

The first L67 was in a VS, not a VT.

What are the weights of each car?

Whilst you are at it, don't forget to look up gear ratios, final drive ratios and calculate the area under the power/torque curves to work out which car is the fastest.

I think you will find that over the long run it will still be the v8.

That you havent done your research? We know.

Well that's true. If it was two years ago I would have known a lot more about the subject, but of late I don't really car for Holden's as much.

This is partly due to certain members of this, so called "community of car enthusiasts" & their lovely attitude to others that have a similar passion for the same brand of car.

This thread is a perfect example of how this forum now operates.

Correct. Somebody (you) makes a stupid statement and then in the process of trying to educate you become a 4 year old girl and have a tantrum.

You made a number of stupid comments in this thread alone, admit that. Move on.

Nobody threw a tantrum, thanks for giving me another insult.

Some comments made by me were stupid yes, there I have admitted it.

Is any one else going to admit they may have jumped the gun? Probably not.
