E3 Dash Cluster into a Series 1 2006/7/8

Any one out there who wants to get/has a E3 cluster to get fitted to their 2006/7/8 VE ... i am after a test car to confirm that i can now do all commodores... but i need the car to test on - Sydney - Rouse Hill area This is purely to see if it works... if you have a cluster and it works i will program it for free.. if you dont have one but would like to know if it will work so you can purchase one later i have a test cluster i can use

all depends...

they look the nicest out of all the clusters IMO

i did it cause i could and it gave me the triple window feature....

but now that i have the IQ it is paying off as the earlier clusters dont show the NAV correctly if you have a IQ radio with NAV retrofitted

yes the dash will show all the turn by turn and speed zones and school zones etc... works great

looks sweet. im not the biggest fan of the chrome surrounds of the dials... it would look real tacky in my calais

By E3, I presume you mean HSV E3? I have an 07 GTS, would there be any benefit to me with fitting one of the E3 setups, or would it be purely cosmetic? I currently dont have satnav.

E3 i mean HSV E3 yes

fitting an E3 cluster is mainly cosmetic but for the people who dont have a triple window cluster then they get a few more features with the fuel usage etc.... and if you have the IQ setup fitted into a Series 1 car then having the later cluster allows the proper display if the NAV is fitted...
