I've got a vx2, different car but same engine, highway about 700-750km, round town about 500km.
PS- auto, plus a 75l tank.

i have a 1995 VS SS and i get around 12.5l / 100k (reading from the trip computer)
and i use BP Ultimate every 3rd tank of fuel and ULP the rest
i figured this is pretty good going in a V8....
i usually do 50-50 highway/city driving....
as i live near dreamworld and have to travel close to surfers for work...

ok my car needs a tune but after installing a new hiflow air filter (homemade) i get roughly 100km every one of them marks on the fuel gauge i might use a bit more up hills and stuff.
havent tested it fully yet so dont hold me to this.

In the V6 I'd say I get about 350-400 km a tank, but I drive mostly in traffic and a lot of stop start city crap.
On the way to Sydney it went down as low as about 10L/100km a tank.
Better economy than one of my old 4 cylidners, thats for sure.

My VX is similar.
I wouldn’t say I get 700-750klm on highway driving, but then I have never really done solid hwy driving from full to empty.
500km around town and best guess would be 600ish hwy.

Mate, the hard bit is different models / options, have different size tanks etc.
The other prob for me is I have no idea of L/100km, I was bought up with mpg.
What I can tell you is that my mum's freashly rebuilt VN exec. V6 gets about 32mpg on a regular basis.
My VL 3.0L wagon gets between 26 and 34 mpg, depends on how much racing I've watched !

My VS Berlina on gas does about 11L/100km which at 30cents a litre is $3.30 which isnt too bad at all for a mixture of hwy and city driving. I just did 460km out of the gas tank which used 54Lt (The tank is bigger however with gas you can only fill them to 80% for combustion reasons). So all in all I think its a pretty cheap car to run and VERY easy on the wallet when filling up!!!
