Anyone know what the piece between the side bumbers and under the tailgate is called. Can't find any prices etc, just for interest's sake. Found the bumpers to be $195 each and the tailgate at $295. But cant find that middle bit where the number plate attaches to.

Mines flat, no groove/ditch where number plate goes. Saw that one

Hopefully your tow-bar wasn't hit hard, can bend the car's chassis and write it off. Should be safe though, looks like a slow hit with like a 4wd :/ Shattering though

That feeling of getting rear ended. Happened to me yesterday. Not a happy moment lol. Other bloke has no insurance so hes up for a big bill.

He's also going to be hard to get money out of, I hope you've let your insurance company know. I'd honestly pay your excess and get them to sort it out with him, then you get your excess back when he pays.

already called the insurance company. They said I dont need to pay excess as I had all his details.
