Has anyone tried engine oil analysis ?

There are places you can send an oil sample and they will tell you if there is any coolant, fuel, soot, metal, etc in it, with a report.
Has anyone tried this, and if so did you find it helpful, and how much did it cost, how long did it take ?

ive used this place a few times, can't remember cost $80 i think, they send you a kit with instructions and return package. It's well worth it to see how the oil is wearing which can tell you if you need higher or lower viscosity and if there's any contaminiation, fuel/coolant etc.
