Drove down to Trafalgar today to look at the newly opened Holden museum,
Was very impressed with the exhibition, very organised, cars are immaculate,
Ranging from Fx to cv8 Monaro, and everything in between.
Only $10 entry fee, staff very friendly and informative
Well worth the trip

Cool.
You should take a drive to echuca. There's one here as well.
Not as big as that one by the looks, but it's quite interesting.

Thanks Nut Kracker, yes I have visited the museum in Echuca several times, and found it very good, also found one in Maffra
Victoria which covers several manufacturers

I believe the Echuca museum may have a larger array of models,
Ie sandmans, etc, and I am of the understanding that the Trafalgar museum is currently expanding as is is going to incorporate more recent examples

Apparently the Efigy has made a apperearence at the Trafalgar
Museum, but is now at Holden HQ in Port Melbourne

I also am told the concept Torana GTRX, will be making a apppearence at the Trafalgar museum in the future

That Cordell FJ wagon is neat. Better looking than the prototype that Holden made but didn't produce.
I've been to Echuca few times. The GTR-X was there many moons ago, I think their displays are all privately owned, and rotated

Correct figjam, I am of the understanding the GTRX is currently at the Maffra Museum, but will be rotated ( swapped) and will be at the Trafalgar museum shortly

Great to see these priceless cars , ie Hurricane, GTRX , efigy are available for the public to view , rather than just locked away somewhere
