I'm really disgusted that Holden are to stop making a local vehicle for 67 years we in this country could purchase a locally designed & made car something unique , there is even a racing series that was initially developed to further the development of local brands now all we'll have after 2018 will be some rebadged european or asian pieces of garbage to purchase and watch race . And furthermore if the past is anything to go by the left to right hand conversion will be the usual cluster f**k , I realize that this is only going to be read by current site members however it's nice to be able to vent about this issue somewhere.

You might not like to hear it, but some of that Asian "garbage" is actually far better than the quality Holden have been putting out. Get your head out of the sand, and have a better look at the options.

In before someone claims the VE Commodore has a better build quality than the C Class Mercedes.

Most people that are complaining have never actually purchased a brand new Commodore. So why does Holden give two shits what they think? Most people are just brand loyalists rather than financial support. Holden didnt need brand loyalty, it needed cars rolling out of show rooms.

So do something about it

Contact Holden and GM USA and speak to the bosses how you can make changes to the current in which they havent thought of, discuss how you can save tens.of thousands.of jobs.and hence replenish the economy at the same time.

GM are at the end of the day a business, a big business with a certain business model.

Australia is fast becoming a very hostile environment for many businesses to operate in, especially manufacturers.
