Has anyone set up any automation sensors?
Looking at smart locks/doorbells, lights, and heating/cooling.

Also keen on any reviews of cameras being used outdoors/garage monitoring.

yes and no.

have done some installing of the equip but not programming it.
friends and others I know work in that part of the industry though.

best bet is to find some people in Radelaide that specialise in home automation and see what options they have out there for you to use.
from memory the one that a mate does work with is C-Bus and its pretty good what you can do with it, depends on their skillset and how indepth you want it to be able to go.
however there are a lot of other brands out there that can do the same stuff.
