Best to jump on the Brock forum, one of the experts with a copy of the bible will be able to tell you if it's genuine.

get a copy of the 'Bible' from Chris Sewell (they turn up on ebay) and go check out brockcommodores.com and bertiestreet.com forums for a lot of experts who know those cars backwards.

Looks like Asteroid Silver, is it an SS Group3?
If it is an HDT, it will have an HDT build plate on the firewall panel below the passenger side windscreen.

naaah... just a 134 Pack VK
(check the bottom pic of the build plate)
and betcha does not have a HDT build plate or number

Hey Smitty so what does a 134 pack mean please the story was the HDT tag got stolen dont know how true that is
