Vz v6 acclaim
Hey guys first post here,
I have bought my first vz and is quite new to all of this so please no hate. But I was wondering I love the look of the vz hsv. And I was wondering on what body kits and other things. That will fit on my 06 vz acclaim

Well if I were you, I wouldn't put a HSV bodykit on a V6 Commodore as the genuine ones are very expensive, and the replica fibreglass kits are very tacky and ugly looking... Also, you'll get that stigma of being a HSV wannabe in a V6 Commodore...

The best mods on these V6 Commodores is to keep it stock and maintain it properly, though putting a nice set of wheels and lowering it won't hurt, as well as induction kits, tunes, diff gears, etc... You could also play around with Calais or SS parts though I wouldn't be going crazy on modifying this car as it's an Acclaim, and it's probably not worth it... Make sure to keep the original parts as you could put it on when it comes time to sell, and sell the aftermarket parts separately...

NOTE: DO NOT PUT AN EXHAUST SYSTEM ON THIS CAR AS YOU'RE WASTING YOUR MONEY AND THEY MAKE THE CAR SOUND LIKE CRAP!

VZ Crewman, VZ Cross 8, & ya mum.
You can’t mod the Alloytec without dropping thousands on them.

Diff gears, suspension improvements. That’s about it.

Like the look of a HSV? Then buy a HSV. Nothing you do will make this car look or perform like a HSV and you will be a laughing stock for trying. Be better off trying to pass it off as an SV6

The bumpers do look pretty sick.

Well. Well. Well you’re ugly.
I had a VP Senator fibreglass bumper on the VP ute and I liked it.
It was pretty.

Thanks for the kind words but most replica HSV bumpers I've seen look hideous, especially when they're paired with the fully hectic V6 exhaust...

Exhaust mods for a V6 are a nice chrome tip and enjoy.

O.P is a one post wonder... They've likely gone ahead with the mods and made the car look something like this...
