Hi would anyone no if I can use a vs air intake temp sensor on my blown VT 5ltr as I'm wanting to put it inbetween side mount blower n throttle body to take a bit timing n fuel out if getting to hot as I have no intercooler yet. Tuner suggested I do this as the vs is solid were as the VT one is plastic n would would most likely get blown into my throttle body. Cheers

The VS V8 uses a MAT sensor which is mounted in the intake runner on the intake manifold, this would be the most ideal solution.

Cool so it's actually a Vn 5ltr that's been built for blown application in my VT, does the Vn have mat sensor in the manifold n will my VT loom run same volts n ohms off the iat sensor to suit the vs mat sensor as I've heard there different volts n ohms. If so should I just run it in the manifold as a said or have it between blower n throttle body.cheers

Will it work if I hook the mat sensor in manifold to iat lead? Vn motor in VT loom?

Yes, VN banana's should have the sensor fitted and is the best place for it because it's measuring the air temp where it goes into the cylinder so more accurate than further up the inlet tract. It should work with the VT loom but the table in the tune will need to be adjusted/scaled to suit.

You will need a tune that is set up for 2 bar. Not sure who is tuning or what they are using but you will probably find what you need on the pcmhacking.net forums
