Ever tried to catch one of these bloody things by hand? They're quick off the mark. They can be caught, though, because they are so game, they will enter a house if a door is left open. I found that out a few years back when two came strutting through the back door, then panicked when I walked into the room. Instead of going for the door, they flew into the closed kitchen window, then got themselves caught in the vertical drapes. Easy meat and both ended up in the bin, but these two are happy to stay outside and make a mess.
