Hey guys,

I'm wanting to work on my car's engine, but I have some safety concerns about doing so on a car with an LPG system in place.

Can anybody please share some advice on how best to shut-off/isolate the LPG system?

Turn off the tap and pull the fuse. LPG has safety built in. You can't get gas to run without it having 12v power at the same time the valve is open. Even with the tank out of the car it needs 12v plus the tap turned on to get gas flow. I know because I used to fill my own BBQ bottles when I pulled a tank from a car.
