- VY SV8 Commodore
Hi all.
I have a 2002 VY SV8 Commodore LS1 with standard 241 heads, standard beehive springs and valves. I believe it is a cathedral port design.
Car is at nearly 300K and gives a puff of blue smoke every so often, but only on startup, so I am looking to replace valve stem seals.
Problem is that I can't determine whether I need to buy the 2 piece seals or the 1 piece top-hat style ones.
I would like to run the 1 piece top-hat style if possible. The ones I'm looking at buying are GM part numbers:
Part # 12482062 (exhaust X8)
Part # 12482063 (inlet X8)
Would these fit properly on my setup?
