I've been thinking how I could raise some money for some local charities (my local primary school and church groups).
The idea I have is to gather and sell collectable Australian magazines. So I'm interested to hear from you guys whether this might be a successful way to raise money.
So here's a few survey questions that I'ld like some comment on:
1. Do you currently collect magazines?
If so, what type? I think lots of us with a sport/hobby/music passion like to collect a specific magazine. For example, I used collect Wheels magazine. Now days I collect Aust Model Railway Magazine (i know, a bit nerdy).
2. Have you collected magazines in the past, and no longer need them?
What type were they? Did they specifically fall into the group of Australian sport/hobby/lifestyle magazines?
3. Or do you think collecting printed magazines is a thing of the past?
Do you think I'm wasting time with this idea? Any one got some other ideas on how I can raise money for my local school?
