MEMCAL faults

If a memcal was incorrectly programmed or is faulty, will it stop the error
codes from displaying .
Would it also stop the Air con and fuel pump from working properly.

I read the memcal in my computer and all the error diags are not set .
Also a lot of the specs are way off standard.

Ok thanks Dr Bob,

I have emailed the memcal,
I am hoping that the memcal is causing engine faults and stopping the ECU from displaying the error messages.
