Update:

update:

-Sent the lid off the plenum to be chromed as well as the 2 alternator brackets and brackets holding the throttle linkages
-Ordered a heat shield + Race flow CAI from v6performance.com.au


Managed to fit some braided sleeves + polished rocker covers from MACE on this weekend. PLus the all important JC Sticker :) have a looky:

Cancel the order from v6performance. The race flow intake is just a Mace intake but more expensive. Plus Ive heard the heat shields can cut the spark plug leads.

Had to order from them as mace do not ship to my adress. They've been very helpful so far, so have nothing really bad to say about them to be honest. As far as the heat shield goes, thanks for this info, i'll just have to put some felt or something around the edges that have been cut to help prevent them cutting the leads.

Update:

- got my license back
- Fitted a mace CAI to the car
- Fitted a polished heat shield from v6 performance.com.au
- Fitted some new MSD leads
- Fitted a MACE 15mm plenum spacer + painted it silver to match the plenum box
- Got my chroming back and fitted on
- Polished rocker covers from mace are all on and have been great and look the goods ;)

Anyway, here's my motor starting for the first time in 5 weeks with all the new gear on it:

I also managed to get onto some calais chrome window moulds/surrounds , pics of them fitted onto the car will be uploaded once i get the car washed and detailed today

:)
