My vy ss manual bagged ute

Thought id start up a thread of my vy
It is a 2004 series 2 vy HBD ss manual Red ute
it has red leather and climate (HBD option)
when i brought it 2 months ago it was stock appart from the following:
ssl front and rear
extractors, hiflow cats, 2.5 inch dual exhaust
Red ls1 engine covers
infill pannel
20 inch advanti tourers

Now since i have owned it i have done the following MYSELF:
Rear airbag setup - 2 x viair 480 c compressors, 5 gallon air tank, asco valves
Kenwood 6.1 inch dvd head unit
12 inch kicker sub and amp in custom made box to fit behind drivers seat
reversing camera hooked up to the head unit
monroe GT Sport super lowered rear shocks
vz ssz twin hump hard lid
xforce dual 3 inch exhaust
alluminium OTR CAI
Mafless tune
Full cluster, switches, climate ect led conversion
vz calais sunglasses holder/ interior light (vy utes only have the crappy vt/vx style interior light)
Red Led footwell lighting
vz sv6/ss fog lights
1600kg tow bar
3 sets of wheels - after the advanti tourers i had dolce dc 06, then osaka tournament, followed by the ve ssv wheels which are currently on the car..


Things to come:
Binnacle Gauges - would love the modded twin hump vz style to fit vy ones that i sometimes see around can anyone tell me where to get these? it will house a dual needle 200psi pressure gauge for the air bag suspension and most likely a volts gauge
monroe gt sport front struts - ordered
3.9 or 4.11 minispool diff
Cam install, springs, douoble row timing chain ect
re tune
Possibly a NOS setup either run a simple 50 shop without cam and retune or 100 shot with cam and tune to suit NOS, looking into the setup at the moment
pretty much anything else i get ideas for..

very nice ute mate, 2nd pic looks killer. i wish i had the money to bag my ute lol maybe one day

as for the binnacle gauges, im sure i saw some on ebay that had been modified to suit the non climate control vz or vy models, there is a bloke on here who has binnacles fitted to his sv6, if i track the thread down i can post a link if you like?

Cheers mate, the second pic is as is now with the lowered rear shocks and the twin hump hard lid.
Yea that would be sweet. I can find the hooded style for vy and vz without climate but would rather the twin hump style.

Yeah the ssv's look the best on it IMO, not really a fan of the dolces lol

And I agree I much prefer the binnacle gauges, the other cheap ones look too pov to me lol

i think so, pretty sure i have, but theres been so many commos out there in the last year or so its hard to tell lol

Good thing to see everyone getting taste and moving on from their lancer bangers and upgrading to decent cars like the mighty hsv's , ss's and for the p platers like me just ur standard hotted up v6 commo and even some fords (herecy i know)
