Hey there guys, Coming from me I know all of us P platers would love to get behind the wheel of a beautiful V8 and/OR Supercharged/Turbo'd vehicle without the rish of breaking the law, Coppin point losses and fines that greatley our wallet..

Purpose of this thread is to see who of you have actually got approved for a high powered vehicle exemption and what excuses did you use to get away with it

I myself drive an SS Ute ileagally and thankfully have not been questioned about it, But as I am buying a new SSV through a dealership I require and excemption for them to leagally be able to sell me the car

Look foward to hearing you replys!

This thread is going to be awesome.

Aside from that, I don't see you getting an exemption since you are simply buying a vehicle that is illegal for you to drive.

You don't fall into any of the categories that are eligable for exemption.

Just wait until you can drive it legally. Don't moan and complain about it because the law is there to protect idiots from themselves.

A little excel can still reach speeds that would be fatal in certain crashes just like a v8 or any high powered car would. Just consider yourself lucky that they don't ban you from driving faster than 60.

Wonder if the OP realizes he will have no compulsory bodily insurance from his rego and no property insurance through his car if he has an accident in a car he isn't legally allowed to drive.

Good Work :/

I don't know why these idiots take the risk

The day you hit someone elses $100,000 car and are in debt for life with no insurance or god forbid are paying someones medical expenses off for the rest of your life it will be a rude awakening that you should have followed the rules for the short time you were on your P's until you got your big boy license.
