Any reason why the Popular Thread Right Now section is full of really old threads? How can they be popular when the last post was 10 odd years ago?

Certainly appears as though it isn't getting any better though based on what I'm hearing so I'll try and remove it a little later today, would be nice if we could have opted for a time frame but that doesn't appear to be case.

I think its a good idea if it was only current threads, i think it is the main cause of quite a few thread digs recently as nobody really notices the thread star dates.

Exactly, purely based on traffic coming through the site which certainly does involve plenty of thread digging.
