I am new to this forum and need some help. I when to my local Holden dealer and asked about red rear brembo brakes. He told me to find some part numbers and then we can take it from there. Pretty weak i wreck en, after spending heaps there. I looked on eBay, plenty there put no red ones. Does anyone do a kit? Can any one help?

"HOLDEN" Do not supply REAR 4Piston Calipers as standard fitment to ANY of their vehicle... this is why your Dealer(Yes he is an A55...as most are...) told you to find a part number yourself cause he knows there isn't any and it's not worth anything to him to 1). Talking to you & 2). Wasting his time.

ONLY HSV & Aftermarket world like(Wankinshaw & Harrop) offer FULL Kits, so talk to them... or any reputable 3rd party Brake specialist as said previously. Then there is EvilBay/Gumtree & Second hand market.

As they say... If you have enough money anything is possible.

Good Luck. :beer chug:

I went through the same thing a while back and did heaps of research before finally buying a brake kit through Vsport/BSM Sport. These guys are the sole official Brembo distributor in Australia as far as I could tell. This was about 4 months ago and it wasn't cheap. The brake kit was about $2600 plus it comes with slotted HSV style rotors and braided lines, better pads etc which don't match the front in looks or performance so I went all out and upgraded the fronts to match. All up including fitting was about $3500-4000. Very happy with the look and feel but probably could have spent the money better.

Lots of the yellow/silver ones are spare parts for Chevys in the US. The only model with red ones is the 2012 and up Cadillac cts-v and they would end up just about the same price. Although getting yellow/silver ones and respraying may have been a lot cheaper it may not have looked perfect and I didn't want that but it might be a worthwhile option.

Hope that helps but let me know if you have any other questions.

You can get rear DBA 350mm rotors for $650, and look on Ebay for a CTS V rear Brembo set. Then talk to GSL rallysport, tell them you have the CTS V Brembo's on the rear with the HSV disk and they will supply a properly fitting pad, cant remember the price. That's what I have on the rear of my car.

Mate don't get the HSV rotors that don't fit in the first place!? DBA make a 14" T3 4000 Series to suit this application without having to re-jig or cut off bits to use incorrect (smaller) pads or the indeed the wrong rotor that's 5mm too small in the first place.

DBA42031AS
DBA42031BS

Perfect fit, top quality. Here's mine. Speak to GSL tell 'em I sent you and save $150.

The custom DBA T3 rotor that won't need the pads to be cut back are on backorder at GSL. I've been waiting close to 3 months for them, pretty frustrating. GSL are the only guys (that i know of) selling the custom rotor that'll fit brembo rears.

Did you get a ring of rust close to the rotor hat PIR4TE?

Yes if I poke my head between the spokes and peer down into the hat!

I got them for a massive upgrade though, not for concours d'elégance. Have you seen what the yanks do to make incorrect rotors fit?
