[VIC] Registration And Insurance

Well rather then start a new thread ill ask my question here, the VICROADS website is being **** so hopefully someone can answer this for me.

Im buying a car from NSW to have in VIC. Its registered and will have a NSW RWC. What do i have to do to register it in VIC?

When you transfer your registration over to VicRoads it will need to go for a Vic roadworthy.
Different state laws require a different roadworthy.

So I finally called Allianz (waited till 11pm last night to call), and it turns out having the car Registered is a requirement of any Insurance company, even if the damage was done on your property.

I dont necessarily agree with that logic, only because no one is driving the vehicle, and the vehicle isnt on the road.
And weather damage/vandalism can happen anywhere, but whatever, guess Im another 600 out of pocket.
