I know this is a old thread but I just done my mates car a week ago and like was said above this applies to a live axle only, my mates IRS are very straight forward to do, BASICS - remove axel bar behind wheel and remove nut, get the wheel and brakes off. then pull or knock it out while on vehicle ( A old rim without tyre works well as a slide hammer).
Put in a big vice then while in vice cut about 3/4 of the way into bearing with a grinder and smash off bearing with a big chisel. Then press fit the new bearing if you can, if not get a bit of 2inch pipe that's longer than the axle and smash on new bearing. Don't forget to put the retaining plate back on before the bearing. May help someone, cheers. Try this link may also help. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct...ake-to-vt-z/&usg=AOvVaw3jcUfxqH1F2298BlF6i0Hz
