A couple of things I'm not sure about, what year/ model did the 12 Port head blue motor come out? I thought it first appeared in the VH. And the VC still had the old six port job. I recall as a young fella a bloke opening the Bonnet of his Commodore, when I looked in the engine was gold coloured. He explained it was one of the first examples with the upgraded engine, I don't what model it was and haven't seen another one since.

VC was the first with the 12 port head blue motor...VK had the 12 port head black

The VB had the 9 port red....That was the last of the reds

The differences between the VB and VC externally are very minimal, so it can get confusing distinguishing between the 2
