Black leather is the best , bring a towel with you if your leaving your car at work on hot days thou .

I've discovered that in mine but those black SS seats look so much better & it's worth having your ass burned lol.

Those old seats of yours Sandman are in pretty good nick & I'm amazed you got the leather ones for $500. Excellent buy. Nice clean ride by the way.

I prefer the twin hump lids to the smooth one. Mine's an after market job but when you look out in the rear vision mirror, it makes you feel like you're in the old batmobile.

Yeah always throw a towel over the windscreen on sunny days, seems to work alright.
Yeah me too, thats why I jumped on them as soon as they popped up, wasn't really planning on buying them but the price was good and Eyy was rambling in my ear about the seats he'd bought the day before haha. The original seats are in quite good nic still, but had no interest in them yet sadly so they're just sitting in my other ute, but they've always been looked after and I think it shows.

Those seats and black roof lining look amazing together. I've always perfered cloth for some reason though. If you were in NSW I'd buy those seats, nothing wrong with mine but one has a little ciggie burn in it and the blue looks way cooler :p

Never been too fussed about the leather myself, but Eyy had bought his the day before and was rambling about how good it was and when these came up at the price I thought why not. Also after having had both they look pretty similar but the bolsters are much larger and more supportive on the SS leathers, so pretty happy with them.

Finally have the nice wheels back on again after a combination of low pressure and camber killed one of the cheapo rears on the 19"s. Running ATR sports now and they seem pretty good for the price so far, so having wet weather grip will be a nice change heading into winter.

Nah not yet, nearly bought a thunder one fairly cheap the other week. But would have needed a paint to get it up to my standards which would have made it not so cheap anymore haha. So still on the lookout.

The wheels look great. I'd have those on mine in a second.

There has to be someone in Melb or a wrecker there with a ute lid. Doesn't matter about the colour cos you can change that.

Nah plenty around, but looking for one in Impulse so I don't have to paint it. Otherwise a say $600 hardlid becomes a $1000 hardlid and I'm not made of money lol.

Still not heaps happening, still gets used as a ute, helped a mate move as per the photo. Bought a genuine black hardlid for $150, owes me $325 since getting new struts and mounts for it so still not too bad. Will get it painted eventually, but have a few other projects and stuff that is more important than it currently haha. Also hit a big pot hole on the way to a mates the other week which has caused a big knock in the front left somewhere, so replaced the sway bar link as nothing else looked flogged but the problem still persists, so will pull the strut out next day off I get.

So really not much happening here other than breaking broken shit. Hit a massive pothole at about 60 a month or so a little while back, after doing the sway bar links assumed it was just a dead ball joint. Finally got round to pulling the strut out and found it was far worse. Bottom end of the strut insert had completely blown out and was going to cost as much to rebuild as replace. So managed to get one from queensland in couple of days and put it in and all is good now. This impact also stuffed the radiator too so had to source a new one of those too, so its been an expensive week. Also threw a new set of pads and rotors on whilst I was waiting for the shock to arrive too, just crappy bendix and Bosh rotors but its definetly better than what was on there..... And yes I will get my hardlid painted one day.

That plate is meant to be attached to the bottom of the strut insert.

Still don't have any good photos since the hardlid, so dirty car phone photos will do. Not much new on this, did new ball joints and tie rod ends in Jan and thats about it. Did a tip run this morning in case anyone is wondering if it gets used properly or not, was nearly tucking the 18"s..... Wish it could always be this low but the pipes were 60mm or so off the deck lol.
